About the Painting

After the success of the Succubus piece from last year I always planned to paint a few more rainbow ladies, and I have to admit that the idea of a purple devil woman was incredibly tempting but purple is one of those colours that can go either way, blue or pink!? Trynig to keep a painting dead centreed in a shade of pueple while showing skin tone is damned near inpossible uniless you keep it very monochrome, but I love vibrant colours so went all out in an almost neon colour pallette. I used the same "model" as before, a photo of the IG model kali.ledger as she's so damned cute. I wanted to ad some extra lace frills around the coffin frame but I felt that it would confuse the eye, but with this piece finished I can't wait to start a new coloured lady, but which colour next?
